Root canal treatment cost and reimbursement in Belgium

The cost of root canal treatment depends on the tooth involved. Here are some guide prices and an explanation of how reimbursement works.

A price that depends on the tooth

The more canals a tooth has, the longer the treatment takes. As a guide, at Cabinet Dentylia: an incisor or canine costs around €260, a premolar around €320 and a molar around €420. You always receive a precise quote before treatment.

Reimbursement

After treatment, you receive a certificate for your health insurance fund (mutualité). Reimbursement depends on your cover (basic health insurance and any supplementary insurance). BIM patients and patients under 18 are fully reimbursed.
